Boattrip to Sottunga

Last week, on one of the days when the weather was just perfect, we did a boat trip to Sottunga. Before we were heading to our destination for the trip, the restaurant Salteriet, we did a stop for some sunbathing and swimming. So nice!

Even though Salteriet has been open for several years, it was the first time we visited it. Since they are famous for their schnitzel we decided that we had to tried it. The opinion: good and huge :) Before the lunch, (it was full when we arrived and the waiting time for the food after the order was around 45 minutes), we did a short walk to the church. The church at Sottunga is a bit special with the bell tower on one side of the road and the church on the other. Well worth a visit!

After lunch we jumped back into the boat, Chiara took a nap, and Marcus and I enjoyed the trip back home :)

Förra veckan, under en av de dagar då vädret var perfekt, gjorde vi en båtutflykt till Sottunga. Innan vi tog oss till målet för resan, restaurang Salteriet, gjorde vi ett stopp för lite sol och bad. Väldigt härligt!

Trots att Salteriet har funnits i flera år, var det första gången vi besökte det. Eftersom de är kända för sin schnitzel tyckte vi att vi borde prova den. Omdömet: god och völdigt stor :) Före lunch,en (det var fullt när vi kom och vi fick vänta i 45 minuter på maten efter att vi hade beställt) tog vi en kort promenad till kyrkan. Sottungas kyrka är lite speciell med klocktornet på ena sidan av vägen och själva kyrkobyggnaden på den andra. Väl värd ett besök!

Efter lunch hoppade vi tillbaks i båten, Chiara tog en tupplur och Marcus och jag njöt av båtresan hem :)
