October, a month that started in Toblach filled with great hikings, a run to Cortina and many more training sessions, lovely views and some real winter, and then ended on Åland with Chiara's first birthday and a very nice weather.          November started with many days with lovely weather, in the middle of the month we had a birthday part for Chiara, and in the end of the month the cross country-skiing season on TV began and the Christmas preparations started:)          December: a month with Christmas feeling, playing with gifts from the Advent calendar:), training, celebrating Christmas and New Year with family, an ice cold dip in the sea:), finally some snow, one cross country-skiing session and some very relaxed days            New Year

In July we celebrated our ninth wedding day, enjoyed the weather that was good lots of days and spent some days in the archipelago among other things.   Finished many runs with a dip in the sea    This summer we finally:) realized that there are good swimming opportunities around us, and if you visit them early in the morning after the training or in the evening you're almost alone. In August we also spent some days at sea and visited the new restaurant on Föglö, Carlsro Badhotell.      September was a month that contain a lot of a lot of things: training, everyday life, summer, winter, trip down to Toblach, different countries, hiking, running, rollerskiing, swimming etc.   Finishing the summer on Åland with a dip in the sea ...  ... and continuing it in Germany in 30 degrees ...  ... before finishing the summer for the year in South Tirol with a dip in Lago di Anterselva :)  And then just a couple of days later we welcomed the winter    On one of the hikes we got a ride up to 2 000 m.a.s.l, where we got to enjoy a beautiful view during our hike April and May were a lot about enjoying nature, spending time together and lots of training.               June came with a lovely summer weather and we enjoyed many days at sea, we did many training sessions and we celebrated a beautiful midsummer.        A summary in four parts of a very special 2020 Th year of 2020 and January began with a trip to Orsa for some cross country-skiing and Marcus competed in Orsa Skimarathon. This was also the first time for Chiara in the chariot, a success directly.     A couple of days at home on Åland ...   First run after pregnancy, such a fun morning:) before we went off to Toblach ... Many hours spent in the gym :)  Visit from Chiara's godfather FEBRUARY February started with the race Toblach-Cortina and Marcus and Chiara's godfather were ready as well as the supporters:). Otherwise February were a lot about being outside, skiing and we also spent a day in Anterselva/Antholz watching the Biathlon World Championship.    After the race Toblach-Cortina  Vltava-supporter  Marcus and Chiara outside Cortina  Cool girl  One of many nice cross country-skiing sessions  Italian food and Italian winter:)  Nice day with nice friends in Valle Aurina/Ahrntal  Gsiesertallauf  Running  World Championship in Biathlon in Anterselva/Antholz March was the month when the term corona or covid-19 got on everyone's lips and also started to affect us a lot, but the month started in a great way with my first race and also some beautiful winter days.  My first competition for the year, a huge goal for me after my pregnancy, and also the last competition that, together with Vasaloppet, took place because of covid-19.  One of many beautiful days  Celebrated an amazing birthday at Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese And all of a sudden in the middle of March we had to leave Dobbiaco/Toblach because of covid-19.  Although the journey back home to Åland came too early, we still had a nice journey home with a stop in Hamburg with a very windy morning jog Back on Åland it was a lot about being quarantined and training  New Year celebration with some running, some sauna, a dip in the sea, great food and nice company!      |
