Norrköping - a beautiful city with a little rough atmosphere

My vacation started in the best way with exploring a new place with Marcus and Chiara. Eactly the same time as we came into Norrköping, I could shut down the computer:)

Norrköping is the 11th largest city in Sweden and very suitable for a walk. We were both lucky and unlucky with the weather since we experienced all types of weather, sun, wind, thunder and rain.

We walked trough the industrial landscape along the Motala River in Norrköping, which is a reminder of Sweden's industrialization, Here a lot of old factories have been preserved. In the middle of this area you find the Museum of Work, which we certainly would have visited  if we would have had some more time. This time we only strolled around a part of the town and ended with a nice "fika".

Min semester började på bästa sätt – med att utforska en ny plats tillsammans med Marcus och Chiara. Precis när vi kom fram till Norrköping kunde jag stänga ner datorn. 🙂

Norrköping är Sveriges elfte största stad och passar utmärkt att promenera runt i. Vi hade både tur och otur med vädret eftersom vi fick uppleva lite av allt – sol, blåst, åska och regn.

Vi promenerade genom industrilandskapet längs Motala ström, som minner om Sveriges industrialisering. Här har många av de gamla fabriksbyggnaderna bevarats. Mitt i området ligger Arbetets museum, som vi definitivt hade besökt om vi hade haft lite mer tid. Den här gången nöjde vi oss med att strosa runt i en del av staden innan vi avslutade besöket med en trevlig fika.
