I really like going on small excursions, picnics etc. and just enjoying different places and the nature. These pictures are from a very nice morning in July where we started the day with breakfast by the sea and then went for a swim. Jag tycker verkligen om att åka på små utflykter, picknickar etc. och bara njuta av olika platser och naturen. De här bilderna är från en väldigt fin morgon i juli där vi började dagen med frukost vid havet och sedan bad.

 In the end of July we visited Saltvik Viking Market. We had a very nice visit last year when we took the boat there. and decided to a repeat of an old favorite. At the market we strolled around the accommodations, saw vikings performing handicrafts and watched the battle with Holmgers Hird and the jester Zack. Chiara also did Sagas Plundringståg (Saga's raid), where children can do different viking inspired handicrafts and collect hidden runes, which in the end should be combined to a word to get a small price. I slutet av juli besökte vi Saltviks vikingamarknad. Vi tyckte det var väldigt trevligt förra året när vi tog båten dit och bestämde oss för att göra en favorit i repris. På marknaden strosade vi runt, tittade på olika hantverk och såg när Holmgers Hird stred och narren Zack roade. Chiara gjorde också Sagas Plundringståg, där barn få göra olika vikingainspirerade hantverk och samla gömda runor, som i slutändan ska kombineras till ett ord för att få ett litet pris.                     So nice to end the very warm visit with a dip in the sea    Nice meeting before coming to the harbour: Albanus  Throwback to a morning with a training session, biking with Chiara to the store to buy croissants for breakfast, a morning dip and then breakfast at the terrace. Tillbaka till en morgon med ett träningspass, cykling med Chiara till butiken för att köpa croissant till frukost, morgondopp och därefter frukost på terrassen.      Day 7   One last dip in the sea for this time    Stop at another paradise ...       ... before coming home to Mariehamn and a mixed platter:)         A trip to Lappo            Day 6 Marcus and I did a two hour long running session, where a part of the run was the 12,5k long trail Kumlinge åttan                  Day 3       A trip to Seglinge with a stop at Marcus aunt's place too        Day 4  Our yearly test run. Not the best result for neither of us, but it is just to trust the process (and hope for better times:).               This year we spent a week of our vacation on Marcus parents' cottage, and I have to say that it was just wonderful. Since the weather forecast was very promising we decided to go by boat, and after training in the morning we packed the boat and starting our trip to the archipelago. From there it was all about relaxing, enjoying summer, spending time with family, swimming, sunbathing, reading, training, going out at sea by boat and just enjoying the holiday. I år tillbringade vi en vecka av vår semester på Marcus föräldrars stuga, och jag måste säga att det var helt underbart. Eftersom väderprognosen såg väldigt lovande ut bestämde vi oss för att ta vår egen båt, och efter våra morgonpass packade vi båten och for iväg ut i skärgården. Från den stunden handlade allt om att koppla av, njuta av sommaren, umgås med familjen, bada, sola, läsa, träna, vara ute på havet med båt och bara njuta av semestern. En fin dag med träning på morgonen, frukost i båten och sen fortsatte vi med båt till Chiaras mormor och morfar.             |
